My mission as a colourist is to deliver creative excellence and an top-notch client experience. I strive to bring out the best of your images in order to enhance emotional impact and production value. Every step of my process, from the initial meeting through to final delivery, is designed with the filmmaker in mind, with the goal of creating a fun, collaborative experience, and a striking final result.
Remote supervised sessions via SRT streaming allows you to attend real-time supervised grading sessions from the comfort of your own home or office, with the confidence that what you are seeing is accurate. Online review tools also make it easy to leave detailed, time-code accurate notes. Working remotely from my home suite allows for a reduced overhead, which allows me to offer significantly lower rates than you'd get from a facility, while still delivering extremely world class results.
Looks for the best films are created in before shooting starts. By working together in pre-production to develop the look for your project, you'll walk away with a technically-sound ShowLUT you can use to monitor and light on set. This allows for a far more accurate representation of the final look during production and editorial, and also gives a big leg up in the final grading process.
DCP (Digital Cinema Package) is the standardized file based screening format for playback on digital cinema projectors. If your film is festival bound, chances are you're going to need a DCP. My DCPs are created for maximum compatibility with the most theaters, and have screened at festivals in Canada and internationally.
