Remote Colour Grading
Remote sessions are supervised in real time using a high-quality SRT stream — delivering 10-bit colour-accurate video for clients viewing from home or office. On a a supplied iPad Pro, what clients see is virtually identical to what’s in the grading suite. ​For narrative projects, the process typically starts with a live look development session, followed by offline grading, feedback via Frame.io, and a final supervised session for approval. Commercials can be graded entirely live if preferred. Originally adopted during COVID, this remote workflow has proven to be efficient, flexible, and cost-effective — offering facility-level quality without the overhead.

ShowLUT Design
In pre-production, developing a ShowLUT allows filmmakers to visualize a consistent and intentional look throughout production and editorial. Grant McNair Colour works closely with directors and DPs to create technically sound LUTs that reflect the creative intent, streamline on-set monitoring, and lay the foundation for a smoother final grade.
DCP
Grant McNair Colour offers DCPs (Digital Cinema Packages) for festival and theatrical exhibition. These packages are built for maximum compatibility with cinema projection systems and have been screened at festivals across Canada and internationally.
